We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team at Midas Energy A/S in Aalborg. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and the ability to lead new feature development initiatives.
At Midas Energy, we deliver mission-critical software solutions to Denmark’s largest energy companies. We are also expanding our presence in Germany, where we already collaborate with several clients.
Job description:
As a Software Developer, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the position according to your strengths and ambitions. You will play a key role in developing energy settlement systems and components for Midas Energy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Energy consumption and production price calculations and predictions
- Settlement systems
- Interpreting market communications and translating them into efficient workflows within Midas.
- Configuring and generating invoices.
- Integrating with data sources using REST APIs.
- ERP integrations.
All development is conducted in Agile Scrum teams, with daily stand-ups and a strong focus on continuous integration and development. Every third week, you will present your progress to the team and key stakeholders.
Desired skills and experience (not all required):
- Experience with REST APIs
- Familiarity with energy market communication
- Experience with settlement systems and invoice generation using document generators
- ERP integration experience (e.g., SalesForce CRM)
- Experience with Java & Python
We expect that you:
- Have a relevant degree in computer science
- Have a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions
- Are eager to learn and understand the energy business domain
- Have a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Are adaptable and open-minded
- Are fluent in English (German language skills are a plus)
- Can effectively present to clients (a bonus)
- Have either junior or senior-level work experience
